Little Heart Albums

Little Hearts Album
Our Little Hearts Albums are full of touching artwork sent in by greiving children everywhere. Their insight and innocent belief is both inspiring and empowering. You may be surprised at whet they see.
Please feel free to visit all of our albums. Albums will be catogorized alphabetically, with the exception of our Spring 2008. This album designates the beginning insight from our own little hearts that inspired this very program.
To have your child's artwork published, please send your drawing to:

Children naturally express themselves through art. It's a therapeutic process which allows children to express their inner feelings without the pressure of searching for words they don't understand.

Through the eyes of our children...
The following letter was written by my 8 year old daughter. She typed it one evening on my laptop and asked if her letter could be posted on the website so that her Uncle Ryan could hear her.... How could I refuse???

Love, Kasey

During the time when Ryan's oldest daughter's grief was still very raw, we encouraged her to write. Although the following poem was actually a school assignment, it's emotion and insight is profound - especially for a 13 year old.
Later that year Taylor went on to represent her school as a "Young Author" in a local program. The program hand selects students who have written a piece that is worthy of publication. Tay.or... we are all so proud of you!!!
The Crisp Red Rose
I sit with the wind blowing through my hair,
Watching the stone with a solitude stare.
The words on the stone absorb on my mind
As leaves swirl and twirl on the ground behind.
A raindrop hits the top of the stone,
Then was when I realized I was truly alone.
It's been 3 years since you have been gone.
Now you are up in the heavens beyond.
The warm glimmer of the sun hits my face
As I set the crisp red rose the stone's base.
Now I know, even though you are gone,
That you've been with me all along.
